Subaru changes in Brisbane

Post by BlackMale » Tue Sep 12, 2006 11:58 am

Based on another thread about Subaru taking out legal action on others the business formally known as The Subaru Shop will now be known as The Boxer Service Centre. Their location, phone number, staff and outstanding quality of workmanship and commitment on Subaru’s however will remain.

In addition to this Suba-Extreme as we know was sold by Jody earlier this year however this company has basically accrued a new name (as a result of the business sale and obvious legal actions) and is still committed to producing Subaru gear. I can not recall of the top of my head the exact name of the business however again if other members know please feel free to add this info.

AND last but not least… who remembers the gorgeous little Ferrari shop on the Toowong round about? WELL it is not there any more (and it may not have been for some while remember I am in Perth after all). ANYWAY this building has been purchased by, yep you guessed it Subaru. Subaru is closing its store in Moorooka and the store in Indooroopilly and they are moving into the two storey round about building. This will be interesting as those of you that have seen this site know how small it is – again I note for remember I have been Perth for a while now and do not know if there this block has undergone extensive work. Anyway I have been informed that as its still a 2 storey building one floor will be dedicated to Subaru and the other floor dedicated to STI. I also also believe that the dealership on the Northern suburbs is due for relocation however I am a little unsure (read can not recall) where its scheduled to be – not that it matters remember I am in Perth.
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

that shop you mention is currently housing centenary mazda. the one next to it is being built for some purpose. would be good if they put the service centre with it. currently its in salibury (about 10 minutes away from the moorooka one.)

the northern one is Zupps. can't see that one moving anytime soon.

Holy cow! I've got to go there next Wednesday for an 87,500km Service on my Forester.....I suppose they will have to take down the Subaru symbol too eh?

Yes! Andrew and the team do do a bloody better job than Zupps or Gary Crick on the SSC they should both go and learn how to listen to a Customer and meet their needs.
Twice in 2 Services Gary Crick overfilled the sump on the Forester first by 1 litre and then 1½ litres, it was up to and over the hot mark when the engine was stone motherless cold and they wonder why they get bad feedback about the Servicing.........hello!!!!!!
