Hey, my mate from BCF here in Coffs went to Perth to open that store :) he taught me more than a lot of people have about fishing this area. Did Marine Science at uni and is pretty dedicated fisho, now at the Port Macquarie store.

What's with you westerners whinging anyway? All we get here is crappola trying to get eastern states workers over west, one could argue that you are stealing our best workers. Enough of the sending money east garbage!!

Just having a stir :D

I love going to BCF, without BCF I had no other boating equipment choices other than driving to GC or Newie to go to Bias Boating, or mail order. Having a store here has meant that fishing tackle australia had to diversify its range, and now they have a decent boating section as well - which is great, because I can go to two shops now to buy boating and fishing gear, and play them off against each other.

Mate, its true, im just pissed off that i could loose my discount, because my tackleshop could go under...lol

that bcf shop in midland is clueless though...for those of us who live in wa, they know that midland isnt the kind of place where people go to buy G-loomis $800 rods, and shimano stella's and stuff...thats more like where theyd get stolen! haha, i went in there to 'test' them out, salespeople know FA, couldnt even tell me about the local fishing in the river, sales isnt just about selling, its about being the customers friend, and frankly they arent! and if i was fisherman who knows his stuff, i wouldnt go in there again, because they know NOTHING....lol... im such a bitch!
