For those that are interested...

http://www.rallyaustralia.com.au/one/

and then there is this... SS6 cancelled (27 October 2006) Following the stopping of car 6, Chris Atkinson / Glenn Macneall on stage six, the running of stage six has been cancelled. Cars 41, 32 and 37 who slowed to assist have been allocated nominal times.

Sorry i do not know any more at this stage.
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

All I can say on that is at least I didn't hang around for a second meteo reading on SS6 (which is really SS3 run again). I'm stuck with a meteo job this year :).

Poor Atkinson. His Subaru really did sound great this morning, as well as being visibly fast through the course from my vantage point.

Looks like Jaffa spotted me too! Either that or his business card randomly caught the wind and ended up under one of my wipers :p

Worked all day again today and will do tomorrow. I've got some footage of several WRC cars I might make a video out of and post on Google.

I do agree its been a bit of a bland rally, but nonetheless its the last "real" Rally Australia in the forseeable future, so I'm making the most of it!

Just wish a few of the blow-in Subaru supporters would stop pretending they're bloody experts! Had some guy waffling on to me today about how the Subarus use this, that and every other thing and how the WRX STI is really a WRC car with plates! I just remind myself that while these people might be wearing blue jackets this week, I live and breathe Subaru 24/7/365. :)
