Part Numbers for belts

Post by timmo » Wed Nov 01, 2006 5:58 pm

Can anyone help me - i wanna know the part numbers for the belts for running aircon but not power steer on an EA82. I'm not puting the power steer in my wagon. Or will Repco be able to just look it up?

Thanks, Tim

I took my car round to the shop and tried out different belts til i found one that was satisfactory. Next time i'm near the car i'll try to remember to write down all the belt sizes.

Cheers

V belts. The belts I have are from an EA82 with power steer & aircon & the numbers are 13A0990 & 13A1150. I'm guessing the last four digits refers to length. So what i'm after is the numbers for the belts on an EA82 running a/c but no P/S.

Thanks, Tim

They are the part numbers mate. Just go to your local bloke with those numbers and he'll know exactly what you mean. The 13A part of the number is the cross section of the belt. It tells me roughly how wide it should be and that its a V belt. The 990 and 1150 refer to how many mm long the belt is.

Hey Timmo.

Here's my belt numbers for an EA82 with AC and NO powersteering:

V Belt - A35 - 2905

And the Alternator belt is:

13A - 1105 -> Ribbed Flat Belt (going by previous descriptions...)

Hope this helps.

Cheers
