This Sunday (13/11/05) little offroadage

Post by SuBaRiNo » Fri Nov 11, 2005 10:03 pm

I plan on doing a mild 4wd run around Kwinana offroad and possible a trip to Jarrahdale to check it's status.

Anyone that wants to come is welcome. I suggest a 10am meet at the Servo station just off the Thomas Rd exit off the kwinana freeway.

I might be telepathic, but I saw this coming a long way off.

Can we eva go near that area without breaking something!?!?!

Did ya get out to jarrahdale?

We did some HARD core sand run... Yanchep up to Guilderton in the dunes and then up to Lancelin. Lancelin was FREAKY!!!!! 8O

Due to the gail force winds the place was VERY dangerious so we did not stay long at al only drove a few dune and hit the tarmac for home.

NO damage... although, i need to find out what that blooooody idel/injector problen is though as she is getting worse.

On the positive its saving me fuel as she idels at about 200 rpm

Sounds like it was a good run(except for dave's damage) I saw Dave and Andrew driving back up the Kwinana Freeway Sunday arvo. Cars looking nice and dirty!! The camber of your back tyres Andrew you can see from way back. Hoping to get my Car back from the mechanics today but i havnt heard from him yet :? so i hope everything is alrite, becasue my mates have been telling me bad stories about broken timing belts. But then again they just mite be wishing that the Subaru is outa action so they dont get embarresed when it goes just as hard offroad as any of their cars.

Don't be worried about anything to do with your timing belt Paul... replacing them is standard proceedure.

LOL no L series damage EXCEPT... 4muff bent his front strut REAL bad. Thats a full replacement jobi.

Yeh the L series is all good. He even replaced oil pump seal, cam seals and crank seal. I'll have to get that weber in and then get the car dirty again.

Good stuff Paul, yeah shouldn't be any damage with an EA82 snapping the timing belt - non interference engine.
If it was an EJ on the other hand............

Yeah I know the negative camber at the rear of my car is borderline rediculous now. Needs major adjustment and new bushes. Already been pulled over by the cops once because of it 8O
