Well that was a fun little trip.

Cruised up to Romeo Road dunes entrance. Had some fun burning around in the dunes, took it fairly easy really. Alex went head to head with the hill climb that took him like 20 attempts last time. Nailed it first time this time!!
Matt got stuck at the top of a hill climb but it wasn't long before he was free, (mostly due to his own determination with the spade). Alex discovered that you can't do a U-turn on a narrow track with solid walls on either side.
On the way back Matt met a guy in a car almost identical to his (minus ALL offroad mods). The guy didn't seem too keen to throw a lift kit in tho.

Highlight for me was just as we were leaving. We came to the end of Romeo Road to turn right onto Wannaroo road and there was a cop car sitting opposite with all it's flashing lights going. He had some guy in a Nissan Patrol pulled over and I figured he was picking people up one by one as they left the offroad area. However, we all turned out onto Wannaroo road and went on our merry way without even a second look from the cop.

Damage / annoyance report;
Fairly minor stuff this time...
Alex - Damn crank pulley bolt worked itself loose again, luckily wasn't lost. Quick fix with breaker bar and no more 6000rpm nuts for the day!
AndrewT - wow, 27" tyres cause Major scrubbing! Time for some bigtime cutting of guards.
Matt - Radiator clutch fan cut into headlight wiring harness. Lukily didn't actually cut the wires, just exposed them. Quick fix with tape! Also some overheating issues.

Matt also has a Turbo, Hatchie don't have one of those (yet)!

Here's a vid of me going up a dune, thanks to Matt the camera man.
**I cringe listening to the guards getting slammed by those tyres...
