yes centimetres, didn't cross my mind to use proper measurements, apologies. thickness, I guess like 1-2mm? I'm not sure what you have. All I know is that the hobby companies have measurements like "0.040", "0.075", "0.030" or something. No clue what it means, but I know that my bodies are about 1.5mm thick.

LOL.

25 thou (or "0.025")is roughly 1mm. Its exactly 25/1000ths of an inch.

"0.040" is the closest to 1.5mm.

thanks heaps mike.

I need the stuff for vacuum forming purposes. I'm recreating bodies for RC cars with different bodykits (i'm carving the kit out of the big plaster mould, then forming over it).

Lemme know if you happen to whip up a nice old school Subaru in 1/10th scale.

Would sure beat the Holden & Ford bodies I have for it already.

We use it for temp glassing cars.

The was a print out floating around that you could cut up and make urself a paper MY, was fairly accurate too, don't know if it is enough to base a mould off though.

it could be dude. basically you'd have to make a shape that somewhat resembled it, then put the car over the top, and keep carving until the plaster conformed to the paper.
