Spotted from road side :(

Post by El_Freddo » Tue Jan 09, 2007 7:16 pm

Spotted: Biege L sportswagon Old lancefield rd, Woodend (vic)

Dude driving left me walking from my subie, looked me right in the eye as he went by :( Ruby Scoo suffered a split heater hose under the A/C unit above the water pump... Temp went up (high, enough to grab some attention) then back down and i thought it odd but hoped to make it to a mates place... pinging next and in knew i wasn't going to make it...

I look out for other subie drivers in trouble... why won't they look out for me?

Yeah i know... just guess that i'm jealous that WA has a subie community that spy on eachother while cruisin around...

Thought i'd get in on the action from the other side of the continent (i was going to post one after a visit to SA but i didn't keep a list of all the sightings - and there were heaps at that).

No Jaffa, but i thought i could try... got to the keyboard and my mind went blank... except for a general description of an L series which wouldn't have been much help...

Spotted in Mandurah in the late arvo, a red Brumby with a badly dented tailgate, low and 15 or 16" wheels.
Got up next to it at it was turning at the lights, noticed the huge FMIC, and roared away chasing a Skyline R34...... both cool.

I once chased, raced and embarrassed a Brumby of a similar description. FMIC = lag usually. Still jealous of the car though :)

That brumby sounds like it might be from bunbury. There are quite a lot of ej conversions driving around down here at least 4 and soon to be 5. Mine is so close to being ready, just have to put the interior back in and some thermo fans.
