My guess/s something loose if its just started since new rack, possible cv or wheel bearing on the way out. Oh oh is it new new rack or new second hand rack? Do you know the quality of the rack?

You got any of these parts n bits? You may want to find out what the issue is before the wkd if possible or it could be a diagnosis party n fit later wkd if you haven’t (not meaning to sound negative either).

worn bearings usually make the grinding/humming noise all the time, not just when turning. maybe check fluid level, and that ur big tyres arent rubbing or scraping anything too.

If you catch em early enough it can be intermittent click/grind to begin with when the wheel is at a particular angel (well at least a few of mine have in the past).

it is definatly some mivement. i would say it is just loose. and it is not a constant noise while turning it. but it is also just a chance to catch up have some food and drinks
