Ok, the Leone now has

- EJ22 fitted with EA82 flywheel modded to suit EJ
- 12MM Alloy Adaptor Plate / Spacer to space and blot EA gearbox to EJ motor
- EA82 FTAWD Gearbox
- EA82 MPFI tank and pump

Now to fit EJ22 loom and ecu (that Dave has cut down and tagged very well and is a work of art), install high pressure fuel lines.

Going to get stuck into her tonight!

Leone update, she went for a quick test run last night when we locked in the centre diff and ran her as rwd.. The ftawd box felt great and I cant wait to see how she will be with the front shafts in running awd..

Prolly a good idea I remove a rear cv shaft tho as the locker might not agree with the box?

The locked rear diff should be fine with the EA82 AWD gearbox, they don't have a centre LSD to bugger up. I beleive its just an open centre.

ahh troo didnt think of that.. and when lock the centre diff it dosent matter because should be in the boggy stuff :P

i put one of the front awd cv's in now.. just have to get the other out of the hub and chuck it in.. and i can test the awd out.. ;)

I agree... however... bare in mind the rare-ity of your new gear box... running a welded diff wont be good for it. It will work fine with it in there... but I wouldn't want to be putting the box under any extra stress if i was you.

I would recomend personally checking all the bolts... both Alex and Muffin...

I recall Alex running and starting the car before without the engine/gear box bolts done up tight... could have ended badly if no one had of noticed.
