hahah the tides will hehehe. na go the navy track for about 10 mins then head on a track for the ocean. you will land just after the hairy bit. then its like 70km/h straights from there. well not 70 for the weak hearted. but its 70 for me :D

My car was well on it's way to turning into another dune.

Wedge Map

Post by Subafury » Wed Apr 18, 2007 9:24 pm

DETAILED WEDGE MAP

Lancelin to Wedge Island

Image
Wedge Is To Cervanties

Id suggest that you guys take this route to wedge at this time of year( but watch out for tides anyway)

1) once going along offroad section, take the first main left track after the lancelin dunes.
2)follow the signs that say "navy track", then once you get to the fence- go straight through.
3) then take the first left which heads towards the beach.
4) then the second left track after that will take you to the narrowneck entry point.
the entry points south of this one can get quite boggy and are only used infrequently. you should have no problems from here getting to wedge as i travelled these tracks not less than 2 weeks ago and they wee fine- but still check the beach before you drive straight onto it. :)

Hatchy needed another car to pull it out... your car drove out after shifting some sand with your foot.
