ok guys, the final list for the trip is below, it looks like its gonna be a rather large event, lots of cars and ppl...should be very good

The meet point for the wednesday crew will be The Caltex Service station up north of perth opposite Romeo Road, (wanneroo road??) For an 8.00am departure so arrive there before this time so the group can leave on time

The tuesday crew will be meeting at matts house at 8am tuesday to leave up there.

Depending on how hard u guys decide to go, there is NO SERVICE STATIONS between lancelin and wedge (including wedge) so make sure u have sufficient fuel for the day, as well as sufficient food and drink.

radio station on the 2 ways will be 16 as per usual, unless too many others on this freq in which case we will either go up or down 1 channel

im not sure at this stage whether we will be comming back to lancelin wednesday morning to pick you guys up or whether u guys are just gonna meet us all the way up at wedge...we will decide closer to the date caus some know how to get there and some like subarino have it mapped on GPS so we wil decide that soon

hope to see you all there havin a good trip

confirmed

I did a basic prep on my car tonight (hacked some stuff out of the way of the tyres, tightened a loose lift block, chucked the offroad gear in the boot). I'm still only 70% sure I can go but I hope I can, looks like it's going to be an awesome turnout!

would have loved to have gone along for this, but have just made a commitment to be at the dawn service here in Gero.

As a point of interest for future (i've never been to wedge) is it usual for the perth crew to head up past lancelin and keep driving that way?

The simplest route Google maps would give me from the north is to pretty much drive the Brand to Cataby and then turn off and follow wedge island road just about all the way.

Is there anybody else that turns off at cataby or near there for these trips?

Main reason for the question is my vehicle isn't really suited... its completely stock. But i'd be happy to drive it as far as I could and then park and be a passenger with somebody who had room (chipping/beer for fuel of course). Just so I could come along for the joyride.

Dave
