I might come along for a gander too. I've got a couple of helmets for those who need them.
Don't forget to clamp your oil filter for scrutineering, that's one thing they made me do a few years back.

this is what we'll do, we will race each other, then when i finish in front of you, i'll jump out the car and film you crossing the line? Or i'll mount a camera in back window, that should give a good view of your car the whole way down the strip? :D

Basically they wanted you to secure the oil filter so theres no way it can unscrew itself mid race and drop your oil all over the track. I used a really big heavy duty hose clamp + a metal bracket almost against the engine block - kindof the way an anti-theft steering wheel lock works I guess.
Not sure if they are still enforcing this or not.

well it doesnt say anything about that on their website- just a helmet - long sleeves, shoes, $40, no oil leaks and a muffler. ive got no time to make some oil filter brace so i hope its all alright.

oh yeh cb ch 16- backup 17. might as well bring it along as its not too heavy ( for those concerned about weight reduction because they know i will beat them and they are trying everything they can to help their car go faster.)
