Wreckers maybe? thats a spare tyre out of an outback/liberty, forester and some imprezas, most imps including wrxs had space savers

few self-respecting ricers would spend the time to modify a Daewoo.

A 205 wide tyre would probably not be classified as a space saver. Might just be a crappy steel OEM.slipps wrote:yeah the space savers ones , are really narrow, this one runs a 205/55 so im guessing its about 6.5 inch wide.
looking for a set to put on my 84 wags with 5 stud.
cheers for the info

That is just a full size spare in steel. The RS turbo came out with these in 15 inch as a spare. Buying a number of them may be price prohibitive. You can get a nice set of RS 15inch alloys with tyres for around $200 these days, less without tyres if you are going for big rubber.

With Subarus the spare wheel has to be excat same size as factory wheels ie. 16" spare wheel has to be 16" wheels on due AWD.
Space Savers started arnd 1996 from memory and a lot of people refused to take them - I've seen a few and I wanted one in my wagon so that I can put more stuff in spare tyre area but until that if I get a flat tyre a fair bit away and drive at 80kmh - forget it!
Cheers
