timmo's ride
It would have originally had air shocks but now has monroe on the front & red kyb shocks on the back.... the rears are flogged dunno bout fronts. I think mainly I need to do all the rubber bushes coz there is a few groans knocks.

what was the reason for an air to air? I'd go the water to air IC before the air to air... you think the cops will be interested in you bonnet scoop?
And will you be mounting a thermo fan under it for in-traffic cooling abilities?
Looks good though, i'd love to see the car with the scoop painted up the same as the rest of the car...
Cheers

car is engineered.... and you are aloud one intake mod... so pod or IC ... me thinks ic is the idea.
WAICS dont cool down as fast as FMIC TOp mounts after a decent bit of boosting. and he doesn't live in the city so i agree the top mount is defiantly a good way to go.
you notice a good difference in power? i couldnt belive how much better mine went with the waic, but you will want to watch out now if you have the boost up higher you may find that you will be maxing your injectors out.

yeah top mount seemed like an easier prospect and cheaper way to go aswell. Also like schultzie said i do mostly hwy kms. time will tell re: cops, but i think the car still looks fairly unnoticeable and generic to the untrained eye. Power wise i notice it takes a bit longer to build up boost but seems to have more torque once it does, also seems like it cruises at 120-130kmh effortlessly now. turbo whistle is heaps louder now too.... dunno if thats a good or bad thing yet!
also yeah one day the whole car will be sprayed when $$ permits, but for now i dont think matt black looks too bad! gave the bonnet a cut n polish still comes up alright
cheers, timmo
