New member's outback

Post by Red Beard » Sat Sep 08, 2007 9:12 am

Hi All

I've been browsing these forums for a while since I bought my Outback - thought it was time to join in the community!

Its a stock as a rock 99 Outback limited. What a HUGE leap in cars going from my trusty gemini wagon!

I don't think I'll be joining the ranks of lifted vehicles however. If my lowered gemini was capable of getting me to all the climbing crags/canyons/camping grounds I go to, the outback should be more than up to the task :D
Time will tell once I get it on the tracks though...

Cheers,

Red Beard

Weather you have a lifted or unlifted ride its all good when your out enjoying the world in it, so Welcome to the Message board. Seeing how you are in Brisbane have you thought about coming along to the Qld Subaru Club and seeing what we do there?

Yes, welcome to the board. Come along on one of the clubs trips if you like. More interesting than coming to a meeting. If you like it then come along to the meetings as well.

The crags/canyons/camping line sounds interesting. If you get some nice scenery or camping pics we would like to see/hear about them.

Thanks for the welcome!

I have had a good look at the QLD subaru club website and it does look tempting - I just have to see how things pan out. I'm in my final semester at uni, and will start work in western qld (Roma) early next year - so I'll be missing out on alot of stuff.

As for trip pics - when I get myself organised I'll post some in the photo section :)

No doubt as I get to know a few people on this forum, I'll bump into you somewhere in the great outdoors!
