Go Karts- Experience anybody

Post by Gannon » Sun Sep 16, 2007 6:29 pm

My dad went to Rockhampton last week to visit his brother on a cattle station.

My uncle and his son have a dirt track and has 2 Gokarts (100cc) that they race around this 1/2km track.

Dad had a go and he wants one. Yesterday we worked out a track at dads farm and now we are looking to buy one.

Ive seen some on ebay and they vary between about $600 and $1600

Anybody have some advice for me?

seen the electric go karts, they look interesting, and silent ! Have driven the pissweak circuit go karts and had a corner chopped off me licence for being involved in a stack - lose four and they won't let you come back. I stopped spending my money with them there and then. Dirt go karts eh ?

What about an edge?

Buy the plans (*cheap*) and a cheap bike and a bunch of steel and away you go...
