Post by subiwidow » Thu Oct 04, 2007 8:28 pm

Well the big day is getting very close. I can't wait. Not much will be happening this weekend except, watching, drinking, and hopefully alot of cheering.

Go the Fords..........bring it home :-D:-D

Its on eh? I haven't been keeping track of the V8's this year. For the last 5 years I really haven't missed a race but this year I just stopped watching racing and so I have no idea where any of the championships are at :( Oh well, if I have Sunday free I'll be watching.. Not sure who I'll go for as I don't like Ford or Holden, just have to pick a good driver.

I used to be a huge fan of the V8's but they don't interest me much any more. I too remember when the Championship was more than a two horse race. Back when you used parts form your own make of car, unlike the clones of today. I still back the Fords but miss the proper racing.

It is still there and done every weekend but there is no coverage and not enough money behind it.

Go the Fords, I mean the Fords with the blue oval on the front, not the ones with the pussy cat.

I'm not watching. Doing a firearms safety course instead. I doubt they will have a tellie there for us.

Go the Dunnydores.

F.O.R.D. Fail On Race Day.

BTW - Didn't go last year - went the 2 before - and have been back in the Cooper S days. Its worth the trip to the top of the Mount for a few days. Plod's being silly this year though - rumour has it that they want to pick a fight or two.

Are you serious, did they or you not know weekend it is before they planned it. My boss asked me to do overtime. I said "Bathurst", he rolled his eyes and didn't mention it again. He knew what was good for him.

The firearms course is so you dont have to get too close to the animals in the hunt or so you dont have to run so fast?

Go the real Fords.

Oh :( maybe next year will be the year for Holden... Lowndesy, so lucky, nearly got wiped out twice by two other cars spinning off at the chase and nearly lost it on last lap...
