Anyone else get some decent sized hail this afternoon. We just got some Golf ball sized stuff come down. Luckily all the cars are ok

We got some hail the size of large grapes. Came down for about 15 minutes, then the weather turned into rain. Rain stopped after an hour and the sun started shining again.

Feels like I'm back living in Melbourne. :???:

we got hammered at archerfield. nothing big, all uner 10mm but TONS of it. very very heavy hail

lib was luckily broken so in the shed at home, and managed to get the L inside the workshop before it hit. Dont think it would have done any damage anyway it was too small.

Stamp Licker, did you get the second storm. We had one come through between 3 and 3.30. while I was still at work. Deception Bay got hail that time, and than when we got home about 5 we had to push Jakes car under cover as another big storm came through. We skimmed the edges. Lots of rain, and thunder. (note to self: insure jakes Car )

For those of you interested I have been sent some AWESOME pictures of the lighting around Brisbane CBD (taken from near the storey bridge). If anybody is interested in seeing them or uploading on the site them PM me an e-mail account/address so I can e-mail them to you (I can not host pictures from this account).

Oh and I should add mum (in Ballina) put the Outback in the garage as they got some serious hail and my sister rang me all distressed as it was hailing (in Brisbane) and her RS was out in it and she could not move it… Good news is that the RS made it through without a mark on it – hey it is a Subaru after all.
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).
