Superchargers??? What do you know??
You'll definitely need an after market fuel pressure regulator,i have one of the CAPA kits that i bought a while back (2nd hand),i got the install book as well,
I didn't get a Rising Rate Fuel Regulator with it so i bought one from the states.
Biggest problem is ignition advance/retard or the all dreaded pinging.
The kit i have comes with a very basic water injection system,
or you can run an i/c or get your computer remapped or better still go with a harness/ecu off a wrx/rs

I might need to look at Tims EJ20T... if thats the same in regards to the fuel pressure reg then there should be no reason it would need to be changed.
Kinda difficult little project to do this one... everyones opinions different. Thanks for the imput Christian.

Hi Guys ,the standard fuel pressure regulator / injector set up will work fine with the mild boost that the front EJ22 pully will produce with a 1gg blower but you will need a basic water injection system. At full tilt with a good standard fuel system, leaning will not be a problem. The knock sensor is only able to retard about 5 to 6 deg. so even on PULP pinging is an issue. Install the blower as draw through and throw your BOV at your neighbours dog. In the standard ports all vacumn accessories will work fine. You can switch off the clutch at idle to help with vibration as it is hard to solidly mount the blower on the EJ. Running up to about 4 to 5Ib this will really make a big fat Liberty wagon go very well. Running a draw through means that closed or part throttle the blower produces little volume and requires little energy to drive.

Thats a HUGE help Steve.... Can someone explain what he means by setting it up as Blow through... also what is a water injection system?? Please excuse my lack of knownledge on this.

Autospeed has some good articles on water injection too.

My brother was an apprentice mechanic at an old wv shop a while ago, he said a kombi came in with water injection, not sure what was wrong with it, but he said the internals around the combustion chamber were very clean, shiny and looked like new. I also know it was used in ww2 fighter planes for short power bursts.
Ive also read stories of improper designs syphoning water overnight into the motor, because there water tanks were mounted high above the outlet for the waterinjector. This results in bent rods when starting in the morning, and im going out on a limb here but, I guess you have a real hatred of that happening.

Whats peoples opinions on using a timing belt idler pulley as an engine belt pulley? Problem i have at the moment is im wanting a pully around 50mm in diamater (flat type). Smallest engine pulley listed is infact that diameter but impossible to locate.

I have been told by a pully company that they may not be able to deal with the RPM although i have found another guy running a similar set up using the same pulleys for the same use... with no problems.

Are they flat or ribbed/cogged?

Anyone know where exactly i should hook a boost guage up?
Would a "T" peace on the brake booster hose before the one way valve work?

Hmm no one knows on that one. But i think thats a fine spot to patch it.
Another question... by halving the size of the Super Charger pulley will that infact make it spin double the speed and result in twice the boost??

you probably wont get twice the boost for twice the speed. Blowers get really inneficient at high revs .. but you might be close going from 3.5 to 7psi ish. I would look at keeping all your pulleys as big as possible to avoid slipping belts. If you can increase the size of your crank pulley and then get an underdrive kit for all your other pulleys that would be better. but probably more work and money
