I Need My A/c Regassed
Does anyone on this board do car regas??for my gen1 lib,mobile would be good or SoR.
I am still on the old r12 gas

they use a replacement gas instead of R12, apparently has lpg in so most dont handle it. Also apparently dries the seals out. R12, just got it changed over to r134 last week by an auto elec mate, The receiver/dryer has to be changed and the 2 fittings on the valves used to gas it / vac the system down but thats it, i reckoned it was worth it

The only real indication it needs regassing is when everything is apparently working fine but it just aint cold. Although there is usually a little window ontop of the canister thing down by the radiator where you can apparently see the gas, mine have always been too dirty to tell tho.

i had mine re-gassed when i had my 200k service at RMS, they had to take the condensor out anyways to repair some bits. bloody cold now.
RMS service centre 9470 2444, if it needs fittings/parts to swap to the newer gas these guys would probably have them handy too. they are in Carlisle and arent mobile though
