The most boring video ever!

Post by Ben » Wed Nov 14, 2007 12:19 pm

Yo, changed a CV joint on the Brumby yesterday, took me an hour and 41 minutes, including winding both front struts up to their highest to solve a tyre/guard rubbing problem I have. Used Sony Vega to speed up the video to an 8:27 speedy.

Not particularly interesting, but shows generally what is involved (not really)

Only watch if you have bandwidth to waste :P

I tried to further shrink it to 4 minutes (Vegas only allows 1200% speeding up at once) but it introduced a big drinks break, I thought a black screen was boring :P

Yeah, I could have searched for some royalty free music to meet the rules that everyone on youtube basically ignore, but that would have wasted at least 8 minutes of my time :P

Meh, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

I know I said hr n 40 minutes of footage, but at least 30-40 minutes of that was me swearing at the little plastic flap under the guard that kept on getting in my way when trying to wind the lower strut plates up!

Brett, click this

http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=150761

create a login to the forum if you don't already, then download the module. Install. Any link to any of the 25 listed video service providers used inline in a post will be displayed as an embedded video. You need to actually click the video to make it play, so the punters won't have bandwidh issues. This will also make all previously linked videos embedd (the youtube thread will be a sight!)
