Air Suspension to Struts

Post by Tnate » Thu Nov 22, 2007 8:08 am

Just wondering what a good price is for this conversion. I've been given a quote, but it seems pretty pricey. I'm not sure whether to ditch this guy, or let him have the car.

Any ideas would be great
Cheers

Thanks for that. The quote I got was for $1900 fitted, and I did think this was a little on the rich side.

How's the ride with the Pedder's conversion? Ride height? What kind of guarantee did they give you?

Cheers

Keep the air struts. :) they are under $700 now for each corner. If only one is buggered, it is the cheap way out :)

Refresh of an old thread! Im lookin in to this conversion now and want the cheap way out, not so concerned about the functionality, oviously working :p but mainly as a daily driver with some longer road trips, not much off road.

Found AlpineRavens struts
vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=160

good move? plus some springs obviously, anyone seen anything else thru their travels?

Have a 11/1991 AWD Gen1 Liberty Wagon if that helps....

also if i had to replace everything new, im guessing the word on the street is KYB struts and king springs...
