8.7 CR 1986 EA82 carby pistons ?

Post by discopotato03 » Sat Dec 15, 2007 7:35 am

Hi all , can anyone confirm that 86 carby NA L series engines used 8.7:1 CR pistons ? The story is that they did in the US so maybe here as well ?

Also how can trhey be identified as being different to the MPFI 9 or 9.5 CR pistons ?

Cheers and thanks , Adrian .

EA81 pistons are 8.7:1 i think.

Thank you SWK , I don't suppose you still have the engine or the pistons ?

If anyone has a good set of these please let me know , pics of the NA dish would be good too if possible .

Cheers and thanks , Adrian .
