WA - Double Demerits

Double Demerit Points for Christmas Period

Double demerit points kick in midnight this Thursday 20th December and will end Midnight Sunday January 6th 2008.

Double demerits are applicable for speeding, drink and drug driving, the non-use of seat belts and for carrying passengers in the open load space of a vehicle.

Please drive safely over the xmas/new year period.

friggin lost 6 in one hit where the *****s hit me for 31 over..sitting just after the speed sign where it changes from 90 to 60. :(

Thanks for the reminder.

I sat on only 1 point for almost 2 and a half years and managed to pull it off without any problems. I'm pretty sure I have about 10 left now, I've gotten almost all of them back but lost 1 recently on a trip to Northam - again the bastards were sitting just beyond a speed limit sign which dropped from 100 to 90.

Double demerits are over this side as well. With the amount accidents recently in Qld i think Christmas is a great time to sit at home and catch up with the family.
