Sucks rsturbo, anything over 10ks over limit you'll get pinged pretty hard. I try staying under 10ks over the limit hehe... doesn't always happen tho.

Got caught... doing 75ks in 60 zone, saw a gun pointed at me, i continued around the corner and down a straight. Saw the same cop car with lights flashing in rear view mirror. Pulled onto side street (so everyone on main street wouldn't see me gettin booked ;)).
Then Cop car drove past on main road...?

My fine is pending i think, hopefully the gun didn't get my plate or something and thats why they chased :D

Hey that's alright we all get done sooner or later.

I got done back in feb coming into Maryborough from Hervey Bay 102 in a 80 zone $250 fine and 4 points.

The cop said to me get done again in a 12month period and next time the fine and points will be double.

sucks more to be me

as some of you guys have probably noticed, every now and then i have been driving my old mans ****ter L series around as he moved to hamilton island.

last week I thought i better give the thing a run after not driving it for a month, take it out and get a $180 fine for driving an unregistered vehicle!!

the notice was never sent to my old man, and how the hell would I know it was out of rego so there you go. it was only 5 days out of rego too, the copper could have just told me to take it home and pay it, but instead he collected funds to pay his salary....

very annoying. at least you were doing something wrong byron

yer might have got done for a bit over 50 in a 40 zone!
Mind you this was not a school zone. These 40kmh zones are creeping into various main backstreets, WTF? whats wrong with 50kmh on those streets?
Copper was just parked afront other cars, so didn't notice until I passed, hey maybe it was just parked? haven't got a notice in mail yet (1week)

Haven't had a speeding ticket in well......over 10years...

jeez but whats with some of ya? 90 in a 50 zone, thats a fair cop

is that even possible?
if it was you'd think it would be pretty difficult

ticket reads:

driving unregistered vehicle
driving under the influence
speeding in a school zone,
while doing a skid
1 tonne of 'grass' concealed within car
told police officer she had nice eyes

:)

Yeah, P platers in vic now have half demerit points right from the start... The last speeding fine I got I thought was bogus - I hope it stays my last fine too.

I won't go into details, but that fine was 74 in a 60 zone (was pulled over in a 100km/h zone) - $250 and 3 demerit points...

Two years earlier and it was $150 and 3 demerit points...

Hope there were no speed cameras along the nullabour
