Good to see some more male teachers. I'm studying Tech Ed (Manual Arts and design). Still got three more years to go sadly. But when I'm teaching full time it will be awesome. Not to mention steady income :D

As has been said congrats (although do not head back WA to edumacate Subarino, thats just to had and not enough $$$. Although on a serious note WA is experiencing a teacher shortage if your interested).
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

Good on ya Bennie

Good teachers are gold - you always remember the good ones. These were the things I remembered about good teachers

Firm but fair
Consistant
Knew when to have a joke
Gave a crap about their students - even if some of them didn't seem to appreciate it
& had a "life" out of school - did or had done interesting things -

What are you looking forward to most about teaching?

Cheers

Congrats, great to have another bloke on 'the force'! Great gig, great holidays, sometimes difficult to put up with menopausal women who know nothing but school:rolleyes:
All the best in what is a very rewarding career;)

No mate, you can teach me some stuff about wiring and how to make it work AND look good ;)
BlackMale wrote: Although on a serious note WA is experiencing a teacher shortage if your interested.
Mmm... I'll keep that in mind too, I so love WA :D
Reg Brumbys wrote:What are you looking forward to most about teaching?
Dunno actually, never thought about it. One thing would be knowing that I won't have to fit a job around my main activity. And doing something that i'm recognised for (rather than casual work flipping burgers or seasonal work when i can fit it in)...

Thanks again everyone for you're positive responses!

congrads with graduation. but straight on to teaching? If you have the opportunity to work in the field, you mentioned Photojournalism and also Multi-media......I find you gain far more experience and knowledge on the job.
In the end you would be a better teacher for it too.Something to think about anyway.
