You can go as far as about 215/65/14 without issues - depending on wheel offset. If you use Pathfinder or the like 6-bolt pattern you will likely have a slightly wider stance and the inner edge of the tyre will clip the mudflap on full-lock. If you lift it you won't have this problem though...
