How much trans fluid 4 auto impreza

Hi just wondering if any one round here may know how much a 2000 impreza actually takes in auto transmission fluid.The manual doesnt say my cd manual says 8 L but we changed it and there is no way it takes this much?Anyone have any idea.Thanks

an empty box can take up to about 9L if bone dry.

last time i took my sump off it took 6L

draining by the plug only a 5L bottle should do it

it didnt take the 8l it is suppose to take ur saying?

theres a good reason for that.

if u only drained it outta the pan theres still fluid left in the Tourque Converter.

whihc means it takes alot less that wt is mentioned for a "Dry Fill" (like 8l is gonna be a dry fill)
