off-road tyres on 13''s??
instead of buying wheels right away, id like to get some tyres for my brumby that will go on the 13x5's it has at the moment. main off road use would be on sand with about a 25% off road 75% road use. anyone know of any specific tyres or available sizes that i could put on her. (not bothering with new wheels right away as i dont have the cash being a 17yr old and all and it needs new tyres pretty soon. like a week or so haha)
Cheers.
Cheers.
please try searching. This has come up heaps before.
But abit of info, you wont really find any 13inch '4wd' tyres unless they are old rally tyres etc.
If its mainly sand work you do, road tyres are the best. Try and find some really wide ones so you get the best flotation possible. But yeh not really much you can do with 13's.

I found Nankangs were wide enough for the wagon on sand, fairly common and cheap in Bris., changed to Kruisers for long distance but being slightly taller in profile put out the speedo out maybe 5k/hr, neways if you can't find any at GC send me a pm and i'll quote a set up here for you, prolly cost $82 per tyre[fitted and balanced]. If you want the tyre mobs' number, pm me.
