Spam in my PM

Post by Busdriver » Sat Feb 16, 2008 6:12 pm

so does anybody else get PMs that turn out to be spam? I mean is this a common thing? I just got a PM from someone that quoted Buddha and when I checked the PM it had a link that went of to a very strange site.

Ok Matatak, how do you know?

Seriously, maybe I am paranoid to be so suspicious, but I PM'd her back, and even though it said she was online i still have not got a reply, and when I clicked on her link it went to an info website on all sorts of religions and vegetarianism.

Maybe its just that i've heard too many stories about not talking to strangers!:-D

Well 'stiffenme' tried rubbing my leg too, all friendly like. I think she is off with the stars, maybe thats what attracted her to this site, the star logo of our magnificent car brand!

Someone has been busy! I have a PM from Stephanie too.

Much like the 'god botherers' that sometimes visit my house, can we quickly shut the door on this one??

I had one from her too.

But I've also had one on another forum too.

Looks like she is doing the rounds of the web.
