hey there just a quick mention for those in Karratha tonight that are experiencing cyclone clare.... from what we hear they are evacuating Karratha (but Mikes son said he is staying put)

hope all are safe and well and get through this unscathed

we will be making the journey up there leaving Perth Sunday morning 15th Jan

I heard from Molly today. I sent him a message asking if he was ok. Although his family was huddled together in the laundry he went to bed and slept soundly though it all. Vort is fine... it has been hibernating in a shed apparently.

i have just got the net working still no tv or radio and yes i'f i could find my swag i would have slept out side.
it was the best storm i have ever bin through. lots of trees down and some roofs behind me got ripped off but that was about it.
we have been told there should be a new cyclone forming in about 2 weeks . i can't wait

well we leave heading that way on sunday Mike said we should be there Tuesday so hopefully that storm holds off till we are long gone out of there

just to let you know shorty but there is a high chance of a cyclone forming on tuesday in the nt and tracking down the wa coast

well we hit the shops stocked up on drinks, nibbles (pate, crackers, nuts, chips) and nothing the cyclone is going to miss us (thank heavens)

it is just very windy and wet outside
