Marroning / camping/ 4wd

Post by aspro » Fri Jan 06, 2006 11:21 pm

Ok here it is, planning to do marroning/ camping/ 4wd trip in the Nannup region on saturday 21st january.

The camp site will be at "cambray" which is a bout 15 minutes out of nannup off the Vasse highway (no facilities by water for washing nearby). Access to the camp site will be ok for a standard road vehicle with care.

Plan to depart at 7.30 am from the servo at the end of the kwinanna freeway. The travel time to the destination from here is about 2 3/4 hours.
The marroning season opens the day before.
Marroning will take place in the afternoon / evening at a near by location to the camp site (after being led in with a blind fold  ) those who have a marroning licience are welcome to their bag limit of the critters. If thats not your scene then there are plenty of tracks to explore. The next day... will leave camp by about 10 am for a 4wd excursion in the area. This will be suitable for most offroad subies, there are definately some challenging areas.... if its to much then there are plenty of granny tracks.
Post your expressions of interest in attendance
Lets have a blast!
