Try
WESTERN AUSTRALIA

BRANCH BRANCH MANAGER ADDRESS PHONE FAX MALAGA SHAUN HEGARTY 34 Boulder Rd, MALAGA 6090 08-9248-7148 08-9248-9158Smart Aluminium - one of the better suppliers of alloy. Another one to try is Ullrich Aluminium

I personally use Smart or Ullrich and find the prices reasonable. Smart do a catalogue with weight per metre, then you get a buy price from them per kg, depending on how much you want to buy - talk to an account manager with them. Then you can work out the prices from their catalogue.

Can anyone recomend a good thickness aluminium for making a sump guard?

Would 5mm marine grade 5083 do the job, apparently it cant be folded therfore would need to be welded at foldlines.

You can fold it if you cut a shallow groove with an angle grinder and fold along that I think.

I'd use 5mm and multiple pieces welded together. 5083 will be fine (It's what they make plate alloy boats from)
