subby fest in perth?

Post by clarkey » Wed May 07, 2008 12:22 am

wat do u all think about having a show and cruze in perth? we get as many subaru's as we can, meet up at a huge park, have a show off all our cars have a look at others u know, including wrx's and offroaders and street cars then go for a cruze around perth?

if any 1 thinks its a good idea put sum ideas of the cruze route/s and/or any other ideas and dates

ps. itll have to be on a sunday not many people work on sundays do they?

wat do u all think?

I'd be in for it... I've got a few we can put on display :)

I have a couple of points...
1. Whiteman Park... due to the size of the WA Subaru owners ;) and
2. Make it around November... lots of time to organize and better weather conditions.

Not too close to Chrissy tho ;) Most ppl will be going away for holidays

I can't see why not, they let most car clubs in. Just give them a call and see what dates are available and ask if they will allow us as a combined group (all the Subie clubs as 1)

Keep us informed of dates and progress ;)

Not sure if this'll help, but Whiteman Park quite often have big open days with the trains and kids stuff and the model aircraft and buggies and all that. Don't know what they have at the end of the year, though. But that'd be quite a bit of exposure there, if you can find space :p
Living in Canada now. Looking at all these SVXs for sale...
