Kwinana off road
June 19 - Kwinana to Re-open
The long-awaited decision on the fate of the Thomas Rd Medina (Kwinana) Off Road Vehicle Area has been handed down.
RTRA was advised in a letter from the Government's Off Road Vehicle Advisory Committee that the temporary closure will lapse on June 30 - meaning that this popular venue will once again be legal to ride from 1st July.
This is a great victory for common sense, as without the Kwinana ORV Area there was nowhere south of Gnangara.
Mike.

If so, good news, would love to check it out sometime. If not, still good news that an area has been opened for 4wd use.
Either way, it would be nice for 4wd users to be more polite, like minded people that show respect for other's choice of 4wd. Its great when you get stuck in the rube and someone pulls you out that is open minded to smaller 4wd's and their capabilities (then you yack on for a half hour).
Sorry, end rant there.
Some one take some pics for us over here that can't drop in as easily as you can

Cheers
Bennie
Ride your car? read somewhere else that it was just being opened up for bikes at first...Suba wrote:June 19 - Kwinana to Re-open

Hey guys has anybody herd any more about this???
I took a drive by today and noticed the closed signs were still up, but there were a s#!t load of people parked up in the car park area - all seemed to be there with bikes!!
This area isnt far from my place, and I never actually got a chance to venture in and have a look before it got shut down a while back!
