Outback front struts

Post by AndrewT » Wed Jun 25, 2008 5:19 pm

Quick question;
I know a lot of you guys running Gen1 libs use Outback front struts to allow the maximum 29" offroad tyres to fit (to clear the spring base)....I'm planning to buy a pair for the same reason.
What I just want to know is exactly which year/model of Outback do I tell my local KYB supplier that I have so I get the correct ones? Or are they all the same?
I guess I just need whichever are going to be the most heavy duty and allow me to fit 29" tyres.

thanks in advance.

King springs - KFFS-25, KSRS-25

Gen2 outback as Mike said. 96 - 98

KYB website will tell you which of the above numbers are front and rear

Awesome thanks heaps for that. I'll only need the fronts as they are going into my L series.
