looks the goods dave. should put a patent on the design:) was subarino's idea anyway, i just helped him put it into action.

mine might be trustworthy enough for some offroad action eventually. im questioning the head gaskets at the moment coz its using bucket loads of oil and the coolant's a bit oily. yet to get a professional opinion though

those bash plates you amde - are they stronger than they look in the pics?? look way too thin to me.

i need to sort some auto sump protection for my car. was planning on using the same front mount you have, but not sure what to do at the rear. what did you mount the rear of the plate to??

yes they are far stronger then thye look in the pics..they thicker ten the pics show. i been intending to make a full underbody skid plate like the one above...but however untill i can get my hands on a piece of alli that big this will do.

the rear of the sump guard on the auto has 2 brackets ive made....not the easiest thing in the world to do but i have done...ill take pictures closer up for u shortly

I have to say it looks bigger/better in real life than in the pics, doesn't do it justice...

the wheel carrier is not 100% complete yet....it needs to be tweeked to bring the wheel closer to the tailgate , and im eventually gonna adapt it to sit on the side and swing out of the way rather then come down to get into the tailgate. but ill get some pics of that too if u wish in its current state

I've got a press[though yours sounds more heavy duty],welder, metal cut off saw, drillpress and a cupbord full of tools. Was thinking of knocking up a very simple brake press.
Sounds like a plan.
Also got a large sheet of heavy gauge checkerplate alloy.

another of the latest add ons

Image

customised for me, so u wont find another exactly like this, it looks similar to the one they normally make but me and my old boy have changed the design slightly to accomodate a mod thats comming in the very near future, and since the photo was taken some more appropriate spot lights have been fitted and look a lot better
