Next WA Trip.

Post by BlackMale » Mon Jan 30, 2006 2:15 pm

Hey Crew, sorry that we did not make the weekend 4WD camp thing, I look forward to reading the other thread.

Given the fact that most of us would have potentially meet on the last weekend of January am I to assume that there will not be many of you keen to go again on the first weekend on February? Therefore making the first coincidental meeting of the WA Subaru crew the first weekend in March? Correct?

 if this is correct.
Let me know.

Ditching the MY for a L-series... never thought i would see the day. MY's will always have a special place in my heart.

Im keen for any meet you guys want to put together... i need dates so i can pass them with the queen before i can say for sure though.

I will be in as soon as I get my ride back together , so many mods going on is doing my head in .
All going well it should go very well off road & on .I am not taking it out untill all the bash plates are fitted to the under side .

I am working on it , so hang in there for the end .

  this is the funniest thing i have eva read on here... so Seagull how long does it take to refit all the bashplates?

Nothing SPECIFIC at this has been set as i was unsure if there was even going to be a meeting. If there is no1 else Dave it could be worth us just talking about where we might like to go, and then posting here.

Jaffa , I doubt that it would be as simple as that as he has lifted the Lib wuite a bit so would require some moddification for refitting them .:)

That does it, I nearly let the rego go on the wagon (expires 28/02) to start looking for a replacement, now I'll have to extend it six months to manage a couple more trips

first weekend in March sounds good.. i'll be there.

Anyone got ideas of somewhere to go?? Got gps now, looking for maps if anyone in WA has any (gps is connected to palm pda)

I am sure that there is a trip on this wkd NO DETAILS it’s a SECRET

At this stage I am aware of 2 ppl (Subarino and Subg) that are keen to get dirty on the wkd – no day specified. The only think we have is that is not a trip that we have done before (we could be minorly flexible about this – eg MIGHT consider Dwellingup if there was exploring over and about what we have done there already).

I suppose that it will be a series of phone calls between us 3 at this stage to sort something as I am not online again until Monday.
