yes there is nothing worse than having to go flat out up a steep rutted out hill just got to hold on. never broken anything mechanical though. just alot of those stupid indicators that stick out the side.Keffa wrote:not gonna happen. Subaru low range isnt low enough for any sort of rock crawling, and the lack of suspension travel will stop you in your tracks...quite literally.
Subis are awesome where no or little suspesnion travel is needed, ie..sand.
Just my 2c, ive moved on from subaru 4x4ing, i had a very highly modified l-series and it no where even comes close to my new patrol in offroad capabilities.
now im gonna go run away and hide!

yes i have started to move on out of my subaru in to a vit it is so much more comfortable off road better low range it is awesome having at least one live axle and a low range to go with it. i love the subaru and will be sad when it goes but it cant take to the spots i want to go. i get the biggest looks when i come down the street. ill just have to get another liberty for the road.
