Might try at home when I get a chance.

Has anyone who has been reading this post got a contact number for Subywan?
I have been trying unsuccessfully to contact him about a part and not getting much in the way of response in emails and the like.

The last time I heard from him was the 20th January.
I too am waiting for tracking details on a lift kit he apparently sent prior to Christmas. It has not turned up and AustPost can't help me until I know some sender details. I guess my chances of getting it is slim after being lost for 7 weeks.
Hope you have better luck.

Was at Caningvale Markets Sunday morning to get our fruit and veg and spied one of those proper green metal 20L jerry cans forsale in the flea-market for $5. Thought "awesome I'll grab that on the way out". 15 mins later some other bugger had bought it! Anyone happen know how much these cost brand new?

I prefer the plastic ones anyway the metal ones always rust and tend to crack from all the expansion and contraction, And although you can get seal kits for them they tend to leak aswell.

I ran two of those red plastic ones on the roof racks going through outback Queensland and South Oz in March. They ballooned out quite substantially but never leaked. The key is to try and leave no air pocket when you fill them and then dump the fuel in the tank as soon as you have room. Still have them 2 years later and they are going back out to the outback with me again in April. I just bought another one at Autobarn on special for $20. They usually sell for around $30-35 mark I think. Absolutely nothing wrong with them.

In the meantime we (my daughter and I) have been putting the RX together. Looking good and should be on the road soon.
