Tyres are now on, talk about only just fitting, the rear tyres scrub on the plastic skirting at the bottom of the car when i go over humps or steer hard, and the front tyres were locked hard against the plastic splash guard that came with the bullbar, i had to hack off about an inch of it on each side for them to clear it, i hope the tyre rubs the plastic on the back end enough to stop rubbing its really loud if you hit a decent pothole, hopefully lifting it solves the problem.

Shows how little room there is between the tyre and the bottom guard, this rubs if you corner and hit potholes

This photo shows how the tyre was digging into the plastic splash guard on the front.

When are you getting it lifted? Is it strut lift or full body lift?

Why do you have to get strut tops made?

Are the King springs standard or raised?

Raised springs, no reason really Bodge is making them up for $200 for the set, seems to be the cheapest price i could find unless you know better?:P

Na mine didn't either when I got them a few months ago :( Great tyres still non the less. Excellent all round, sand, mud, rocks, road, wet, dry. Pretty much everything.

The light truck versions have the white lettering. I think these will be my next pick in an even bigger size

Your OB's looking really nice. Love the bullbar and the tyres make her look real mean. Some lift will just top it off. What lift combination are you looking at doing?

Its getting raised springs and 35mm strut top spacers, i wanna go more strut height without doing the body lift but can't cause of the rear suspension binding up:(

Good thing about plastic.. it's easy to trim ;)

You'll love the 70s on the beach.. big difference. Have fun and pics on the beach or else :p

My good friend has these size tyres on his 2.5 Outback (same shape and year of yours) and his hasn't rubbed on the road. I'm wondering if there's a difference in 4 or the 6s?? Also may pay to have wheel alignment and bushes checked.

Yeah one of my mates with a 03 (same gen, colour and bullbar) as yours has a similar issue. He want 3+ inch of lift under the whole car but the rear suspension is a pain in the @ss.

I currently have raised springs and 1" strut lift blocks in the foz and its good. If it wasn't for insurance I would go 2" strut lift, raised springs and 2" body lift. Plus bigger tyres. Something stupid like 6" lift then but 2.5" is enough for now

You won't be disapointed with the lift your choosing on doing! But you can never have enough.

Dunno about the difference, Magoo has the same car with the same tyres as me, and his is a 2.5 and his has done the exact same thing, he just let them rub until the plastic rubbed off:p i plan to do the same, will get pics when i go:)

By strut tops do you mean spacers? $200 sounds pretty good. Are they offset to allow for camber?

What bushes do you mean?

About $300 delivered. A few people have em & are very happy but they're 1" not 2"

+1 I have them, they are 25mm high along with my raised springs(25mm front and 30mm at the rear) and larger tyres gives me 70-75mm of lift under everything. Really makes a huge difference. Plus going 3" or more strut lift is doable in most Subies but then CV's start to take quite abit wear. But if you have the money to keep replacing CV's and/or boots its well worth it.

I paid about $270 for mine including postage to Aus. Can't really complain with that. Bolts, nuts and stickers included  No camber adjustment in them though but with adjustable bolts in the rear it isn't an issue.
