The other alternative is to get a harness and ECU from and Australian delivered EJ25 twincam and start again :)

No not only that, when the light goes on the car accelerates sluggishly and has a big power lost. If that wasn't happening i would not worried about it...

Have you checked your codes? Sounds like a sensor issue to me.

Yeah we know the MAF is getting to much input voltage and we know its because of the missing wire from the alt to the ECU. the only thing we need is the appropriate wiring diagram to figure out which wire to connect it too on the ECU.

The lancaster had a release in the USA as well as Russia and Japan. I see it talked about on USMB all the time. sadly it is a pity they can be a bit one eyed (more so than here) about helping new members.
