I will contact either AndrewT and/or Subarino to update them on our attendance or get 4WD details.
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

Another awesome trip today!
Here's a very basic rundown...

Attendance;
D3V1L Dave
Me
Subarino
Lapsed Chris
Subi Matt

We met at Red Rooster then headed out to Barton's Mill. We had abit of an explore around in there (being careful not to collect any motorbike riders). This proved a little difficult with 5 cars. Hit a dead end and all of us have to turn around. We really need to get there with mabey just 2 or 3 cars or at least Brendon as a guide to get a good idea of the layout of the place.
After a little while we decided to head out to the Powerline Treck. We thought we could find out way by following the power lines but eventually we conceeded we had no idea where we were so it was time to consult the map. After finding out barings and belting up the highway for about 20 minutes we found the entrance to the rear of the treck. (We drove past the usual entrance because we wanted to try doing it in reverse).
This was just as exciting as usual (ie - excellent!!).
Hatch was trying some rediculously tough stuff and making a darn good effort to do it!!
My memorable moment was Matt lying down under my car checking out my plastic inner guard and getting absolutely annihilated with a gravel rock pelting from D3V1L Dave as he dropped his clutch and burned off home.

Minor Damage report;
Matt - some weird vibrating noise from the engine bay (but it's been doing that earlier in the week anyway)
Subarino - flogged out a radius rod bush (brand new, only their second 4x4 trip)
D3V1L Dave - busted the weld on an exhaust flange
Me - front allignment jolted even further out I think

Chase up a warranty replacement.

Hope this doesn't happen to me. I've owned a set of Nolathane radius rod bushes for nearly 2 years now and I'm going to be installing them before my wagon's on the road. I won't get a warranty :(.

One of the radius rod bushes on one side is simply gone.... not happy... will be hard to get warrently on a part that has evapourated. Lasted less than 2 trips... one was extreamily tame, under 500km too.

Will be trying to get a replacement from WA suspensions ASAP. Tim... i wouldn't install them if i was you. I would have been better off with the standard ones that are over 20 years old.
