gear box dismantle?

im pulling apart a L series dual range but im suck on how to get the rear part of the case off? there seems to be the gear linkage in getting caught? any ideas or tricks?

Brian, you have to undo the 10mm bolt head on the reverse gear switch arm.

can you see that from the top were you take the 4X4 cover plate off??

Yes, it is down on the left hand side. Shine a torch in there and you will see it.

got it! but had to work out how to get all the 4x4 linkage stuff on top out of the way, very interesting inside, think im ready to pull the lib one apart now!!
