yes im aware of the oil issue....take the oil guage sensor out....pump oil through the system then crank th emotor over without spark for around 30 seconds to prime and bleed the lifters and everything else

ok new issue stopping me from finieshing it off

i CANT FOR THE LIFE OF ME get me engine to go far enough back to get the engine mounts back in the cross member...just spent countles hours with tristan trying to get it in with out success :(

any help or tricks here i should be aware of?

ermmm line the clutch plate up first off..

wts stopping it tho. is it not mating up to the gearbox or is the gearbox been brught forward for some stupid reason

its all bolted to the gearbox matt, its just the re****ulous angle of the motor, the position,, everything is just working against me

only other option i see is to drop the subframe which im not gonna do..its far too much work for me to do on my own

just drop the tailshaft off and undo the gearbox crossmember. that should allow the gearbox to come back abit, drop the motor on it's mounts, then do the gearbox back up again.

well she is alive!!!! but the motor still doesnt sit exact on the cross member its quite an issue but im driving it and VERY happy

if ANYBODY can help with the engine problem PLEASE pipe up

i'd just line it up next to another rex and see what needs to move where. That is If you've got another rex lying round in your backyard...

its running all good now. Broken engine mount was the culprit. Smoooooth as(and v quick)

took her for a stretch last night with the boys.... done VERY well..absolutley stoked with how the engine has turned out...

atm its got 214 kw at the wheels running on 9 lbs

tune is booked at asg on the 23rd march and will be tuned to 23 lbs and expected mid to high 200s
