ahhah same thing basicly with one of the bogans thats works here on his old VP 5ltr :Probdddd wrote:I am sure you guys have re-built engines before and know more than me as I have only done three? ....anyhow I will add my two bobs worth....did you bother priming the oil pump and once in the engine bay are you going to pull out the plugs, disable fuel and turn it over till the oil pressure is up?
My brother's rangerover didn't pick up the oil when first starting up after a re-build, ran for 30 seconds and seized! Managed to turn it over again with both the starter and brute force on the crank handle (subarus don't have those)...It still ran however am sure the bearings were never the same!
ermmm line the clutch plate up first off..D3V1L wrote:ok new issue stopping me from finieshing it off
