wow... it would have been awesome experience.. i would love to do that one day.. pity had a bit of hiccups but at the end of the day you had great challenging experience.

Great job..not many would be able to do what you have done..the trip, working your way out of mechanical problems in harsh countryside..roadside repairs....and never gave up...I take my hate off to you both..well done!!!

at 120 and above the car felt very firm on the road, i'm only running a standard wagon EFI setup. 150 was all she had in her, plus we were watching the temp guage...

Thanks everyone for all your feedback. The end result is the car now runs a carbie engine that i had spare with an MY radiator. I've removed the AC condensor as this was a little clagged up and was blocking air flow to the radiator - prob my problem the whole time.

I'm yet to pull down the MPFI to find out what exactly is wrong with it - hopefully just a set of head gaskets...

I'm hoping to do another trip like this in the next 12 - 18 months - I love road trippin!
