Benny - were you able to get faster than 150 or it was too risky?

at 120 and above the car felt very firm on the road, i'm only running a standard wagon EFI setup. 150 was all she had in her, plus we were watching the temp guage...AlpineRaven wrote:were you able to get faster than 150 or it was too risky?
Thanks everyone for all your feedback. The end result is the car now runs a carbie engine that i had spare with an MY radiator. I've removed the AC condensor as this was a little clagged up and was blocking air flow to the radiator - prob my problem the whole time.
I'm yet to pull down the MPFI to find out what exactly is wrong with it - hopefully just a set of head gaskets...
I'm hoping to do another trip like this in the next 12 - 18 months - I love road trippin!
Cheers
Bennie
