Ignition - one switch for switching the ignition on, the other to start the car.

OR

One to kill the fuel pump, another to kill the ignition and two other hidden switches to make things interesting...

The ea82 mpfi do have the check engine plugs under there dont they?

Yep I got sick of pulling the panel off to check codes, reset etc. so I just wired the black and green plugs to switches and bingo - check codes at the flick of a switch! ;););)

And yes I guess i'm a subie nerd!!!! lol :p:p

I should have known that - I've got an MPFI, even though the ECU is still wired in and trying to operate and the MPFI is on a bench in pieces it still pushes out codes - no temp sensor or crank angle sensor.

I wonder if i could wire these things up to operate off the carbie engine. I would imagine it a waste of time any way it goes...
